I've been trying to get tlpd for quite some time now.
Today I've been camping since 8 am (its 7 pm now) at frozen lake and it spawned on the other side of that damn mountain.
I wasted too much time there and I am wondering if it's a good idea to realm hop and fly around storm peaks.
I know there are a lot of people who are trying to get tlpd and in most cases tlpd dies as soon as he spawns but I want to see what you guys think.
Should I sit still at one of the four spawn points or should I try something else?

its worth doing realm hopping but hey this mount is very hard to get no wonder its name is TIME LOST protodrake

this and aeonaxx although i want aeonaxx more than tlpd

i'd try giving up

Few tips that worked for me. (Farmed TLPD 2x)

TLPD: shares the same spawn timer as Vyragosa. If Vyragosa is up, TLPD won't spawn.

A guildy found Vyragosa dead and stated in guild chat. I went back 7hrs later and I found TLPD's corpse. I checked back again 7hrs later and found Vyragosa.
The next 7 hours I found nothing. I checked back another 7hrs later and I found TLPD flying @ the end of my flight path.

The awesome part is that TLPD was my first flying mount besides my DK mount

Aeonaxx: also shares a spawn timer but with the Rare spawn bat. The bat doesn't stay up long before despawning. Once you find him, you have your spawn time. If you find him and it states that you can't mount/attack him, /reload UI. Don't rage quit. You are actually already on him. It glitches. (Also farmed 2x, lost 1 to phasing)

Rare Camel Figurine: Find it asap after a restart. Once you've found it, you can check back every 6 hrs and it's usually up. (Farmed 3x for friends/myself)
(Sadly it took me 32 figurines before I got the mount/title.)

Voidtalon: best to farm right after a reset. Within the first hour, realm hop one area until you find a portal. (Farmed this my 1st reset attempt --> http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/17083948505?page=2

Poundfist: is just poundfist, 2nd group to farm it in US. But everyone has it now and coalfist is easier to get and looks cooler.. So yea..

Poseidus: Best to realm hop Thursdays-Saturdays in one location. (If no other restarts happen) (Farmed 3x)

The only mounts I afk camped 100% were Aeonaxx/Poundfist. The rest I either planned out or found while gathering herbs.

Hi, guys, greetings from Germany. to farm the TLPD (or Aeonaxx) is simple when you have a good strategy B) with the right strategy is only a matter of about 3 days until the judge gets spawn. :ph34r:
My time is now something very limited, therefore, I can not manage my video posting so fast with all the trimmings. But I can give you tips how you ought to answer it in the whole thing to succeed quickly and also server hopping is there not an issue.

Have a lot of screens and videos to prove it and show but so far I came not to all include time to publish a new guide.

Timer where absolutely nothing happens is 5hrs. And the waiting time for the next spawn is 3hours. So there are 3-4 spawns about day. 5hours nothing + 3hours max up for next spawn = 8hours, 8hours : 24hours/day = 3 spawns. But this count only for the max waittime.
So it can spawn directly after 5hrs or it take 3 hours max that will be a spawn. One of the Mob will spawn in this time window of the 3hrs. So when you use my strategy it will cost you more than a day 6-9 To intercept all spawns and to have certainty and not senseless killing time and standing around senselessly.

I have researched this and everything on video and so dozens of times killed Aeonaxx and Time Lost for many players. Not only for me in good old times ^^ (no Battlenet) where you must to hunt the mount individually for each Char.

i dont know how many kills i do all of the time. Have only play since Cataclysm WoW when i have become the free to play time for 10 days. Only beginning of this year i have all this again times explored in order a few changes and been drawing everything to make time a comprehensive and extensive guide for Rares Timelost, Aeonaxx, Poseidus and mysteriously Camel....

Take the time and do it only if you really want to do anything else the next 3 days at least. Until then, you should have easy reached your goal. Really nothing else!!!
This is important in order to be successful and pointless to waste not weeks and months if you did not have the luck and the mobs with the epic loot you flew straight into the arms!!!

Now is always the rhythm once you have a timer that always all 4h45min to be in position and then endure the full 3 hours (depending on how long the spawn can be each time)
After each kill, (the kill counts and created the timer again) it is again 5h nothing happens. from 4h55min so you should stand directly on position and be ready for the next ~(up to) 3h time window.

1. So first, you can add in your Battlenet Account and activate a free Starter Edition. This can you use for free up to level 20 and if you want, and we need 4 Chars about the Timelost, 4 Chars = for 4 Spawnpoints. So You have your Main Acc and Main Char and you can play in the same time the Starter Edition whit the Mainaccount. But so we need 2 more Chars to cover all the points. Around supervise this 4 Spawnpoints in the stormpeaks.
So it simply creates 2 more Battlenet accounts (2 new e-mails and 2 Battlenet Accounts must create and activate their) on your same name or fake. As you wish. Same name would be better because you can combine the accounts. So we have 4 Acc for the hunt. Only Starter Edition we will play so its free.
(for the starter editions and other Accounts you dont need to have Authentificator Options.)

2. Make a copy from your WoW installations folder (this is for the other Accounts and StarterEditions) we need this then you can change the graphic options etc. so you do not adjusted in your Main Account. In some of the PC is not to play strong enough to 4x WoW. However, we need anyway (not ultra slow) only settings in the low range and play in window mode (look at my screens)

3. load the Addon Silverdragon/NPCscan/NPCscan Overlay and put it in you WoW Main folder and the Copy folder.

4. make a shortcut from the wow.exe or wow64.exe out of the wow copy folder to your desktop/taskbar, we start the starter editions from this exe.

5.start your Bnet launcher and log in your main account whit your main char, then go to bnet launcher and choose StarterEdition abouve the Play Button and log into your 1. StarterEdition Acc. and make a Char. an Undeath Rogue is good. Undead therefore because they can breathe underwater and one example this. it may support Poseidus if you want hunt this mob later. If you level up to 20 or think level 8 was it, so you can go in steahlt mode so you can not see other equal. This you do with all other Acc and Chars. Login whit all.
(you can use middle options in the Starter Editions, so that wow is not lagging when your PC is not a highend machine)

6. go whit your main to the starting area from the undeaths and invite your StarterEditions Acc/Chars in Bnet friendlist or only in group and fly whit the low chars and your main to the stormpeaks. The way you want and positioning your low chars in the Stormpeaks.

7. so if you have all positioning exactly on the spot, exactly!!! so you can camp. After Serverrestart or when you have no timer it takes up to 8 hours until one has a timer if you've just missed him and know nothing about it. If you have the timer so the interval from the timer and camping strategy start.
so you can now intercept any spawn and depending on how long it takes until the right mob appears to be successful.

Make a Macro for pull and kill

/tar Poseid
/cast (here your best and fastet spell whit the furthest range)

in Silverdragon, if you hunt Aeonaxx so you must add the id 3868 for Bloodseeker in Silverdragon / Mobs / Always
go into options / Mobs and klick on right side import the first and the second option (= import Mobs and impost archivment Mobs)
then go to / Outputs / Messages / and here you use / Channel / Groupe (or what you want)
under Outputs / ClickTarget you can hook all (except guild so if you want)
under Option Scanning go to Scanning / Targets and hook Mouseover + Target
so you become a popup when you have one of the rares in target or mouseover and a textmessage.

For Aeonaxx hunting so you need a friend that can port your low chars, but for Aeonaxx you must have more acc to find out the spawn because of Bloodseeker. I can say that Aeonaxx come 2-3 times in a week, so pro week ID.
As well the timelost. The spawnrate is not 1:16. This is computationally alone not because of the time how does the whole principle.
7 Days a week, 24hrs, 3-4 spawn about day always takes place, so we count, 7 days bevore new id (server up /down x 3spawn per day = 21 +- 4-6 spawns extra since there are never the whole of 3hrs to wait, so that make approximately 25-27 spawns about a week.
When we have 2-3 Timelosts / Aeonaxx depending on what you camp/hunt so how can anyone say and unfortunately some redistribute this crap again its 1:16 the chance.
On average, I have almost always 3 kills pro ID.
So perfect is it when you have 3 spawn behind each other in one day Timelost or Aeonaxx. But this is very rare but not impossible. Have I already had.

It was a great job by exactly get it, it is not 5h and 6h and there is only this 3h wait window until everything goes back from the front and going to get a new opportunity for the right Spawn.

If I find the time what I really already wanted to do then I'll be a video release with all spawns and all the trimmings. Unfortunately is plenty of video material which are to be what all cut and processors and then publish on Youtube in an appropriate size by approximately 200GB.

TLPD spawned on my server 20 minutes ago. I always camp fucking frozen lake but I moved to ulduar (i dont know why) and that golden faggot spawned at lake. my luck/10

i used peerblock a long time ago to get both aeonax and tlpd lol would suck having to camp them for hours on end

I've killed like 8 vyragosas since my last post in this thread.
At least I organized a team of 4 people. We are currently camping on some random russian server. There are literally no tlpd campers so all we have to do is to wait for this fucking drake to spawn. 2 of us already got it.

tlpd is a bitch.
