i heard about a lot of expansions for wow over the past 12 years

do i have to buy every single one?

on the battle.net site i can find world of warcraft for 14.99€ and warlords of draenor for 44.99€(amazon for 36.99€) and that's it

so do i only have to buy those two?

also a friend will invite me, but she doesn't know which parts i have to get either, which advantages do I get for being invited? and I'll invite my girlfriend after that, does that give any more advantages?

there should be a "battle chest" or w/e that includes all previous xpacs


recruit a friend will give you 300% exp if you are in a party with your recruiter and other small benifits like being able to summon your friend.

it got „The Burning Crusade“, „Wrath of the Lich King“ & „Cataclysm"

is there another battle chest, or do i have to buy mists of pandaria and warlords of draenor as singles?

E: nevermind i found the answer in the comments of the battle chest

so it's only battlechest + warlords of draenor. that's great!


But i still have one last question: Do i have to buy the game before being advertised by my friend or do i install it afterwards?

Pretty sure warlords comes with mists.


I talked to a gm and asked if legion will come with warlords in a similar fashion that warlords comes with panda and he said he wasn't sure.

Put in a ticket and ask if anything.

It'd make sense that it would. Who wants to invest 100+ dollars in a game they are unsure is any good. They gotta keep cost of entry low to get people to play.

I'd order it right away, coz it's only 47€ for both on amazon, so i'd have everything, but i don't know how the thing with advertising works

They send you the recruitment email, you make a trial account, then upgrade it with the amazon keys you got.

(g2a might be cheaper tho so check there)

If it is your first ever MMO I'd suggest not using recruit-a-friend. If not, go ahead. You level so fast with the 300% that you can barely keep up with all of the new shit you unlock if it's your first time.

nah, i played a bunch of rpg custom maps in wc3 like the black road , guilds of hyppos and shit

also played gw2 (but not for long, i dont like the skill system)
and i guess path of exile is an mmo too

also had wow test edition once, so i levelled a few guys to 20

just don'T know what i should buy, you know^^
