I'm gonna start playing WoW again and was considering rolling on an RP server (either Emerald Dream or Moon Guard). I've never RPed in a game before.

I'm not gonna write a backstory of my character and shit, but I guess I just want to experience an increased level of immersion. Anyone have any opinions?

I've been curious about that as well.... you should try it out and tell us how it goes

I suggest PVE...RP is too hardcore for me.

Hmmm... Some of this stuff I'm not a fan of. I don't like the idea of ignoring the way the world of Azeroth works to make it more like our world.

Like removing your armor before going swimming to make it more "realistic". Apparently in Azeroth, swimming with full armor is just as easy as without so that should be accommodated into the lore.

roll alliance on moonguard and spend all your time in goldshire. you will make the best friends you ever had and will ditch your real life buddies to spend time with some hairy fat pimple faced teens and pedostaches pretending to be girls. it's tons of fun and you'll wish you did this sooner.

ED has rp but you have to join a rp guild.

Moonguard has rp more predominately.

It was fun while it lasted when I was 14 years old and a horny druid.



Besides, it introduced me to Yiff here on d2jsp







Edit: Never actually roleplayed in WoW, but lots of bearfucking did happen. And T-bagging corpses, if that counts.

Sometimes I macro "for the horde" b4 killing someone in wpvp, I could that as doing my part in the rp.
