Hey so I have been keeping an eye on the mount market for some time now..
Lately there are mass numbers of each mount being sold on each and every server.
Are these being duped, did they figure out a code generator?
Is this going to put current TCG mounts in danger??

protip: duped mounts can't be placed on the AH

So what happens if you trade for a "duped" mount?

Is it legit if you learn it or can it still be taken away?

if you buy @ ah you are save. if you buy from a person, blizzard will take away duped items.

How is this even fair?

Only way to find out if they're duped is to try and post them on the AH. If you're learning the mount, and it's duped by some chacne, an error will happen saying something along the lines of "no more charges".

So the safest way to obtain them is to get the actual card or buy them off the AH..

I've bought many duped mounts before and never had any of them taken away

I heard recently people have been duping Alani or whatever ( the dragon that flies around MOP ) and bllizzard takes it away as you learn it

if anything just buy from the ah or when you buy from someone dont spend a lot of gold

i bought a lvl 25 hatespark the tiny for like 10k on a low pop server, learned the pet to transfer it to a higher pop server and couldn't put it on the ah or learn it so i just sold it for 25k and bought another one cheap that thankfully wasnt duped
