Pardon my noobness, but why do all the 'sites' have Affliction listed far ahead of Destruction, but all the 'top' warlocks seem to be using Destruction -- am I missing something?

For a simple answer, in top tier gear destruction will be better on any fight where you have to hit more than one target. This is especially more so when you get the Archimonde trinket and the dots are up to 24% shorter for affliction.
The only fight where Affliction is really useful right now is Fel Lord.
