Just bought WoW for the first time, ever. I am really interested in experiencing this huge game. Are there any other people who are new or relatively new that would want to maybe join on the same server to do bgs or dungeons and what not? I have no idea if I will go horde or alliance.. Both look interesting.

Also if there are any veterans who are free to answer questions please pm me!

Also someone mentioned buying gold and just getting heirlooms right away to speed things up. Is this necessary or should I play vanilla and earn my way to that stuff. I don't want to dull the gameplay but at the same time I don't want to get bored

All i have to say is:

If youll be playing alot of pvp in the end-game go alliance
if youll be playing alot of pve in the end-game go horde

Also, for your first time i don't recommend buying heirlooms right away... The game is fun and leveling also is a big part of this game. For my part, every expansions i take great pleasure in leveling multiple toons. Yes after the first or the second i tend to use heirlooms lol.. But IMO, the first toon should be leveled without ^^ As we went trough the multiple expansion, they did reduce the experience required between level 1 and 85 drastically, even 85-90.

This is my opinion tho, what i suggest is try it! If you get bored, grab a 20$ and buy a wow token to get those 25 000 golds and buy your heirlooms ^^

I also would suggest leveling without anything that gives +exp for the simple fact that you get more of a chance to see some of the lore in WoW even though a lot of it has been cut out. Also if you're interested you can spend time leveling up professions as you go instead of powerleveling them. It will also give you more time to learn the basic playstyle of your class and characte.r
