I am thinking about changing my computer setup at home and have all my games stored on a computer I am essentially using as a server. however reading about it a bit it doesn't look like you can do this for blizzard games anymore..
I know you can install to an external harddrive.. but I am wondering how it works if I would attach an external harddrive to my router and share it from there? would it get treated like network storage and not work.. or like an external drive and work?

fyi my setup consists on 4 desktops currently. and ideally I would be able to play all my games on any of my computers without ever installing any of them except for on the server. also I believe if I do it like this if I play a single player game I will have access to all of my saved games on every computer as well.

Yes you can play blizzard games that way .. But process rate will be low doubt experience will be good ..

no idea i am a computer retard.
my fondest memory was putting D2 on a flash drive when they came out affordable 4gb size, taking the flash drive to school and playing d2 in window mode off the flash drive at school while in class.
