I'm playing an Hunter, i have mining and engineer but i read sumwhere that engineer become useless after lvl 60, what u guys think?

Depends what kinds of mounts / toys you want.
All professions makes something useful and can be used to earn gold.
They are very very equal all of them. I have all professions at 700.

You can make guns with engineering afaik, so it's definitely not bad for a hunter

Good if youre lazy and want to make scopes on demand
Also gets you a repair bot vendor for your raid if theyre in need

Engineering used to be for PvP and fun, now its like, neither.

I dont even do professions anymore, fucking useless. At least for while there, they had passive bonuses, now they're just useless.

if you're trying to make money, engeneering is not for you. but personally it's my favorite for what it offers for my own character. (devices, tools, etc)
some stuff they create you can buy on AH, but making it yourself is way cheaper , plus theres stuff you can't use without being an engineer, like Jeeves, MOLL-E, wormholes etc

because like i said, the best stuff it can create can only be used by engeneers, so you can't sell to someone something they can make themselves for cheaper

Can they use their engineer mount account wide?

yes but some of them can only be used if your actual character is an engeneer. some of them not (like sky golem)
