Haven't played WoW in awhile, just came back and leveling up on a new server...
I need to learn my engineering skill 700, but am only level 80... was figuring I could level it up while I leveled... is there anyway I can get the piece before having to actually unlock Ashran, or the WoD expansion through quests at 88-100?
Could I possibly get summoned there or to an area for the Engineering quest piece to drop?
Tried to ask in trade, and general, but you know how people are...

Obviously I'm an idiot. I mean the city. Like Horde have Warspear. Alliance have Stormshield..

no you cannot go to any content that your xpac doesn't have.... for instance, if you don't have mop, you can't go to pandaria, don't have wod, you can't go to pandaria or ashran or stormmshield, etc

I have WoD, I'm just not high enough on my new server to get there.
Was just wondering if a level 1 could still be summoned, or take a mage portal there.

If u only have the vanilla game you can only go up to 600 in a profession and lvl 90
You cant do draenor professions either without the xpac
