I know level 3 allows you to build more buildings and let me port to ashran, but is there a point to upgrading garrison's to level 3? do i unlock more missions or something?

Dont you need level 3 for your buildings to be 3? Also portal to warspear and daily quest dude like jones.

why would i need level 3 buildings? 90% of the buildings are useless.

only 1 of my toons have a level 3 garrison, never found the point to spend 5k on it as i dont do any missions or anything else on alts
