i have been playing fire mage as main spec and I cant seem to pull out more than 20k max at 660ilvl, can anyone give me tips on how to dps as fire? or is my build even correct?

#1. Fire Mage gets a HUGE boost from set bonuses. If you don't have at least 2 set, you are missing out on the "combustion trick".

#2. Combustion trick is basically building a big ignite on your main target, then with 2 piece set bonus you can Inferno Blast twice in a row. This causes the ignite you spread twice, to STACK, on the secondary target. Then you just switch to the secondary target with a massive ignite, use combustion and spread it back to the main target.

#3. Always use icy flows, living bomb, kindling talent. Living bomb cleave is huge and amazing for any aoe scenario.

#4. Aim for 39-40% crit chance then start stacking more mastery. Since in aoe fights mastery is super strong for fire, you actually can take mastery over crit and it makes switching between fire and arcane very easy.

#5. You want extra padding on the dps or you want to help your raid more? In fights like Operator and Beastlord, you can actually do higher dps without glyph of combustion, but you will do "less" damage to the most important target. (Boss and on operator you can kill man at arms and flame mender faster if you have combustion glyph).
