sorry for being a noob if there is an obvious addon everyone is using nowadays, but

I'm looking for something that does basically what recount does except it also breaks down the details for incoming damage. Shows me what % of attakcs I blocked, parried or w/e and how much damage things were hitting me for. Would be great if it could even break down the different types of attacks from a boss i.e. normal melee from a special attack and show me where I am taking the dmg

new OS and have not reinstalled wow yet but im pretty sure recount shows "damage taken" and will break down all the info and %'s into a pie chart.
I know you said like recount, but afaik recount has what you are looking for.

I don't think it shows when I dodge an attack that was made against me. When I go the breakdown of damage taken, all it shows is the amount of damage I took. There isn't a detailed report like it has for damage done.

I use recount + a few mods for it
Recount for tanks adds; healing required per second & healing taken
RecountMitigation adds absorbs blocks and parries
