Looking for someone with a great memory about vanilla Elemental Leatherworking or some top notch googling skills to find me some info on the Pattern : Stormshroud Gloves.

http://www.wowhead.com/item=21278 says Stormshroud Gloves were added in patch 1.11.1

However, all the info I can find from addons or google are showing this pattern only ever dropped from only 2 sources, Princess Tempestria and The Windreaver. Those bosses were added in patch 1.4.

Does anyone know if this pattern was available before the Elemental Invasion of 1.4? If so, what were the other sources? Anyone who can find a link with some helpful info would be appreciated.

I have the recipe learned on Illidan, if you just need the gloves

iirc this pattern used to drop from the giants in azshara... I have faint memories of it dropping from the naga around the temples too but not so sure

It only dropped during the elemental invasions precata not from some giants in azshara


thank the cockroach pondscum( this would be the correct term) devs who were clueless what a mob drop is( approximately 10,000 unique mob specific items got removed from mob loot tables when cata hit)

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Pattern : Stormshroud Shoulder which dropped from Son of Arkkoroc from the game's release until the mob was removed?

No source I can find supports these giants dropping both the shoulder and gloves patterns....
