It would decline and wouldn't go through...it preauthorizes the transaction...if you have no money you get no boost.

It it approves the boost, they'll just lock your account. If you bank allows over drafting (most do, up to $500) you'll have to pay that penalty, usually 35-70 bucks

What? I don't think any bank will allow you to overdraft $500.. Lol

Just another way for banks to make money, should look into how much yours will let you over draw
