started pvping with prot last night, i now prefer it over ret.

prot would only be viable in RBGs, not so much arenas. Holy or ret would be viable in both. Ret isn't in a particularly good place in arena though so the skill cap is rather high and would require a more specific team comp and less room for error (at least from what I've gathered from streamers). Holy paladins I'm not too sure but are kind of in the same boat.

holy sucks, ret is good but easily slapped around. prot is more of a fun survivability for random bgs
