Yo, I have an old account with some time left on it and wod trial available for use. I don't rly want to buy wod yet because I totally missed on MoP expansion and want to replay it a bit. Here comes my question: whats the fastest and easiest way to get to around 540ilvl+ on a lvl 90 monk. Thanks for any tips.

There are 90 greens from wod that are over 540 i believe.
Check the AH.
