i really prefer monk tanking but i feel that it is very weak at the moment so i was wondering if i shouldn't wait until i have lots of gear for it.


For healing i really enjoy it i just have never felt competent healing this patch ( i have another character who is a healer but i also just do not feel competent healing on her since she is a low ilvl disc priest )



opinions or anythings would help please

E/ i have a level 81 blood dk but i just find their rotation so monotonous.

I find the opposite. I find my monk a lot stronger than most other tanks.

In raids, my OT tends to die rather quickly (Prot Paladin). He's definitely doing something wrong.

Anyways, I have had to pretty much 1 tank both Gruul and Hanz and Franz on more than one occasion.

This is ofc assuming by weak you mean squishy.

Let me know if you have questions concerning your monk tank.

i just find i am very squishy, due to not very many damage mitigating abilities

where is monk dps?

We have a prot warrior and monk tank combo. It works VERY well for us in Highmaul and BRF.

i have never tried it and am not wanting to since i already have 3 dps classes



i heard its really good but until the monk gets higher ilvl it isn't that great though?

Ours is 670 and it's still fine for our progression.

yeah at that ilvl they are beats but at lower 640s-650s i dont know
