Hey everyone! TeamSASA has created another workout you can do while playing WoW. This is beginner to intermediate level designed for PvE. More are on their way so leave any feedback you may have to help us make them better. Every routine is created in an effort to help those who they may benefit the most. TEXT FORMAT
During Queue - Optional - Jumping jack or run in place
After Dungeons - Alternate Between - Push-ups(you can vary it up), Leg Raises(add weight), Pull-ups(change angles)
After Raids - Push-ups, Leg Raises and Pull-ups.
Pull Countdown - Sit up into a squat
Strategizing - Hold lowest squat
Boss Death - Jumping burpee(clear space)
Death - Run to the other side of the room and back(clear space)
Waiting to Release Spirit - Hold legs out and tense core
Get Loot - Stand up into a calf raise

Pretty cool idea, if I'm a few hours deep into a raid and they're smoke braking I'll take the length of time to increase my heart rate.

I think this would be exciting and more rewarding if the entire guild was on board so we can keep each other honest, similar to a TV drinking game.

Dude, I love your idea. If I had time to run a guild, that's exactly what we'd do!

I think this would be very successful in the form of an addon, to eliminate the pain of memorizing a routine. Then you could put more exercises in smaller aspects of play or allow players to send eachother exercise requirements. I'm imagining GMs could use something like this improve the performance, cohesiveness and alertness of their raids.
The addon could send something similar to a human verification window, where it give commands directly in an overlay?

If I had a guild leader that would do this would make me actually get back into WoW. I mean common a workout plus gaming best of both worlds.

MaliceMizer, we have a very similar thought process. We are currently working on an app for that but full integration with the game or even overlay like an addon is actually an end goal for us.

And DoctorManhattan, I totally agree. Best of both worlds! Actually, playing with a keyboard and mouse makes it a bit more difficult but when I exercise while playing games with a controller, I am typically standing and I mimic my characters movements in game. Like bending my legs and lifting my heels up off the ground, one after another (REALLY FAST) when sprinting in game and crouching irl when crouching in game. Stuff like that may be weird at first but it didn't take long before it was very conducive to the gameplay and it actually helped immerse me into the experience. Not only did I get a great work out but it helped limit my gameplay session which could be very beneficial for some gamers.
