Mythic lockout operates like older, "normal" lockouts, yes?

I pug with Guild A and they are 1/7 with Kargath dead.

I will NOT be able to raid with Guild B that wants to to kill Kargath on Mythic.

But I CAN raid with Guild C if they're planning to kill Twins, Bracken, etc.

Yes you can still raid with them..you will just not be able to get loot if/when you killed Kargath Mythic.

Mythic lockout works exactly like lockouts back in the day.

Once the first boss dies, you are saved to that instance only.

You will not be able to join anyone else's instance unless it's the one you get saved to already.

You can't do kargarh again. He is already dad for good.

You won't be able to enter instance C if you are already saved to instance A.

If the guild from instance A is going to continue their run and go to twins and bracken, you can do that because it's the same instance you are already saved to.

If instance C is a different one that also already did kargarh, you still cannot join.

Hmm, two different answers.

Either way, shouldn't have pugged with "Guild A" then... struggling to kill M Karg...

Mythic is old school lockouts. You can only enter the lockout you cleared him in. If you open your raid tab, it shows you your raid ID. That ID is the only one you can join back into.

So if your 1/7 and you notice on the raid ID it's now 5/7. Someone in your group before continued without you and now your saved to a 5/7 and can't go back to kill the other 4.

He asked about the lockouts really, so the easiest answer is...
If you join a group and enter the instance (even if you pull the boss once and dont even kill him) you are saved to that ID.
You cannot go with any other raid leader that week.

You do not get saved by pulling the first boss. It was a bug that has been fixed. You only get saved if you KILL kargarh.
Or if you join an instance where kargarh is already dead. But this way you will get a pop up window with a timer to confirm if you wish to get saved and stay in the instance.

I know you're not supposed to, didn't know they fixed it.
