Trying to figure out how I should gear, enchant, and spec for Mythic Highmaul raiding for my mage. Currently, I'm geared and enchanted for arcane MS and frost OS, but I'm starting to wonder if I should have it the other way around. So, have my mage MS Frost with gear and enchants for Frost and then OS arcane for fights that I'm not moving a lot.

Is this what I should be doing? What experience have other mages had success with?

Arcane is best but frost isnt far behind fire/arcane.

I've been told that frost is the way to go since you have to move a lot

If it would've been tank & spank you should've gone for arcane

Will depend a bit on your gear, but you want to go Arcane eventually for Kargath and Butch. Fire for Tectus is a MUST.

Rest you can still go frost and perform better / just as good as arcane.

When BRF comes out, it will be all about arcane / fire. Since barely any pieces have Multistrike and the Tier bonuses are looking really HOT for fire =]
