I'm debating whether or not I want to try WoD. I purchased it when they were offering the pre-order bonus and never got around to playing.

My questions are: (I'd be a Mage on Thrall)

I hear you can buy end-game BoE's in the AH. What's the highest ilvl you can buy, how much do they normally run on high pop servers and which pieces are available?

I recall being able to buy the 553 belt and pants in MoP. Once I sell this D2 gear I'll have roughly 50k fg. Not having a lot of time to play, I'd be all for switching that for ~900k gold and buying my way into end-game playability.

im not sure about the prices but there are mythic pieces that drop, which is end game atm, and they are boe.

Are there only certain boe pieces that drop? I.E. Only Legs and Belts.

You can get mythic boe cloaks/belts/hands. Pretty sure you can also get 695 boe neck and maybe ring on bmah - they are boe as well so you may find them on the ah.

Just buy Sandman's Pouch and Copelands Clarity, both really good trinkets and will carry you so much in the beginning, and then save the rest of the gold for the next raid tier.

ilvl670 for craftables- u can use 3 different pieces.

Highmaul drops another 3 boes pieces up to Mythic 685(691 warforged) - Cloak and Belt from Trash and Gloves from specific bosses.

There are 665 ilvl BoE world drop epics also. Bunch of different pieces.

Also in the Black Market Auction House you can get BoE Mythic ilvl895(701 warforged) from the raid that is not even out yet. One piece is Belt other is neck i think.

Boots I think also in the BMAH.
