as a rogue i feel i have the general rotations down but still get out dpsed. i cant seem to figure out why, also as a sub rogue im looking for a full rotation fight like 10 mins, wat do u prioritize and why, when do u shadow dance and why etc etc. looking for a rogue god teacher plz

uhm keep up rupture and slice and dice ( important)
also keep up hemo
get the vanish glyph

everytime u can vanish and ambush use it.. backstab as much as u can use eviscerate or death whenever u have 5 points

use the talent that reduces energy cost by like %75 when stealth

ilvl 645 sub rogue here with 23-26k dps after boss is dead

45-55k dps first 30 sec.

all single target.

Useful talents:
Shadow focus ( free ambush )
Shadowstep ( get in position after knockback etc to keep uptime dps )
Mark for death ( I'll explain why )
Shadow reflection ( that's why )

Before boss starts, you will have 5 combo points ready up if there's a kind healer to do a hot on someone. ( Honor Among Thieves )

You start out with 5 combo Slice N Dice
Ambush , hemo, 5 combo point Rupture
wait for ~70 energy and then a proc trinket should be triggered by now. If you have an on use trinket use it in this macro:
( trick of the trade on tank before doing any of this )



Then you have 8 secounds to do as much damage as possible, so the reflection can do the exact same afterwards leaveing you with a HUGE burst
you do this:
Ambush Ambush 5 combo point evis
Ambush Premeditation 5 combo point evis
Mark for death + 5 combo point evis



And then you go back to keeping up Hemo, rupture and slice n dice.
Use vanish to get a free ambush and refresh the 10 sec damage buff you get afterwards

Use preparation for a free vanish + ambush

( use it when premeditation is ready )

If there's 10 sec left cooldown on shadow reflection and shadow dance is ready... wait those 10 sec and combo them together...

fuck me, time to get daggers off koragh

struggling to break 19 w/ 200 flask and prepotting as 646 combat

i do all this at ilvl 648 and im only pulling 17.5k dps well everything except using draenic agility potion and i use anticipation

so if i change those 2 things will my dps spike 4 or 5k? lol idk why mines so low i do rotation right i keep everything up and still shit
