I'm trying to do level 100 missions and like i know you have to match up like if someone has a "deadly minions" symbol you match your follow with that and its like basically a free win..but like none of my guys have any of the matching skills...

Just keep leveling up your followers to 100, get them rare-epic and you get more traits to use. Also that Follower trait re-roller is VERY nice.

RNG. Some of the come as rare/epic though.

to basically get a free win as you call it .. your follower also has to be atleast the same lvl as the mission or higher, same goes with when you get a follower to 100 and you get ilvl 615,630 etc missions .. the follower has to have the same ilvl or higher to be most effective

look at the follower page for some epic followers that are 100% chance to be epic when you unlock them ( getting them from achivs etc) . other than that you have to lvl them from 90-100 then from green>blue>epic .. the better the quality the more skills the follower has, and for the most part except for a few followers the spells they recieve are completely random

also, getting a tavern allows you to recruit a follower each week, you input hwat traits you want whether it be profs, spell abilities or whatever and theres a good chance but not 100% when you recruit them they will have those abilities
