Personally I started with the Alliance, but then I tried the Horde and I think it's much more fun!
Which is your favorite faction, the Alliance or the Horde?

Vanilla: Mixed
TBC, horde was the place to be, alliance were literally only kids playing
WOTLK, horde still but faction change came in mid ulduar so some of the good players switched over for racial advantages/faster bg ques etc...
CATA, alliance reallistically, racial advantages were OP in every aspect of the game, the population died of everyone who you ever used to play with slowly, people grew up and out of WoW, LFR was introduced and guild levels, you only joined a guild for the perks, you didn't even speak in /g or in /raid
MOP, you're alone, alliance seems to be popular, no one talks, you can't grasp the game as socially as you used to, even in a new guild that completes good raids, people sound depressed in TS, you wonder what happened to "Vent"?
again you sit in town, no need to speak, no need to do anything, just LFR and Flex until you're geared for raiding, you try horde.....its even worse
WOD, it's new, it's fresh, it seems worth while, alliance is booming, some people who you used to play with even come back to try it out, garrisons seem great until you realize it's just separating you from what used to be the main city, again, you find yourself geared, ready to raid but alone
