Basically, I'm interested in playing Priest, Warlock, Rogue, and Mage more than the other classes, and I am going to be playing Horde for certain.
What race is best Shadow priest DPS in end game raiding? What about PVP Shadow priests? As for healing, would the race choice be different than for shadow?
When I played last time around, I was a Goblin SPriest because the haste buff was really important for the DoT's and rocket jump turned out to be quite amazing for PvP and even for avoiding PvE effects. Initially I intended to just do the same again, but I know times change, and I'd rather not make a poor decision now that will cost me 1% DPS later, causing me to have to redo my character from scratch just to fix it =P (which I would end up doing...) I also noticed they recently gave Undead a new racial, Touch of the Grave, which adds a random damage proc, that supposedly gets boosted by shadow form, is this a substantial DPS racial, or is it a joke? Also for PvP, how does WotF compare to rocket jump?
For Warlock, Rogue, and Mage, I guess same question really, although I'm not certain what spec I intend to go with them yet. Sorry for being so vague here, but I haven't played since just after WotLK was out, I just know I enjoyed the clothy classes and rogue play.
Anyway, if anyone can help out, I'd be really grateful, I can't post on battlenet forum yet due to their stupid policies and me not having WoD yet, and Elitist-jerks seems to be a bit dead now for this sort of info. I guess that brings me to another point... where do people go to talk about min/max gameplay for WoW these days? I'd really love to just spend hours reading threads / guides before I get started, knowledge is power and all that...
Thanks.
