Plenty of free garrison resources out there in the form of rare creatures and just random caches sitting around. The map shows you where literally EVERYTHING is.

Get Handy Notes from curse.

And the add-on Handy Notes Draenor treasures.

I'll post a pic in a second. Shows the treasure/rare on mini map as well when you are close to it.
