Buying WoD in about 20 mins and will get the 90 boost but don't know what type of class/race is best for Dps?

Hunter or warrior

or shaman

if you have any lvl 60 or above, you should boost them.

because then you get free 2 x lvl 600 professions..

if you dont care about that.

I'd say Mage / Warlock if you like ranged dps! They have always been strong and top tier.

For melee: I'd pick Warrior or Rogue/Feral druid

Warrior and feraldruid can switch to tanky if u get bored, and rogue is always fun.

What about a DK? I've heard good things

I'd say definitely pick a hybrid class that can tank or heal as 2 spec. Rest is preference. Unless you're raiding mythic, anything will be viable if played properly.

Almost always, I'd say druid though. Wanna tank? Go guardian. Wanna heal? Go resto. Wanna melee DPS? Go feral. Wanna ranged DPS? Go Boomkin.

mage or warlock imo depends on your play style tho
