Should people expect to pick up trades on max level characters, is there a reason for this here, or does it not really matter?

It's not about a level 1 on here; it's for Blizzard's sake. A level 1 trading thousands of gold will flag a response by Blizzard higher than a max character that is actually played.

That said, a gbank is the safest way to withdraw gold.
