I wanted to earn lots of gold like 4 tokens worth to buy the midnight expansion. I know its going to require probably a lot of luck getting some transmogs maybe?

What should I farm? Thank you for the advice! I just have a regular WoW subscription.

Depends on what version of the game u want to play.

It still comes down to Actionhouse trading, grinding mobs or harvesting nodes.
If you can invest time and have the skills to raid PvE, there are alot of Guilds which are raiding for gold. What i have heard is that this would be the best source of gold income, but until you get there i think you need a nearly Bis gear char.

OK I ended up just buying the midnight expansion, and made a Shaman. Going to enjoy the expansion, lots for me to uncover in this game, im really newb.

pretty sure all the action is on the classic servers.
