Can you just admit that Blizzard isn't putting out as great a product as they used to? You've tried to defend the franchise every time someone puts it down.

I do agree, wrath was my fav, quality of the game has gone down. Dumming stuff down started with cata prelaunch..im not defending the product, but idiots that cant count months or understand gp keep proving my point about morons. To base the vitality of the game on a spike/dip in subs is kind of naive. I hope it doesnt go much higher than 6m personally, but that wont happen.

The more the merrier, although subs will more than likely drop below 5 million unless they make the release date for Legion relatively soon (like Jan/Feb 2016 soon).

TBH I would agree if they removed LFR (it had a purpose and served it) now that we have such easy access to norm/heroic, I just don't see any benefit to LFR at this point in the game anymore. I think if it just went to norm/heroic/mythic, we would see a much more lively "casual" norm/heroic raiding scene, and the game would do that much better.

The thing is, it's those same casuals that are the ones buying the name changes, the cosmetic changes etc.

Those are the micro transactions you speak of.

Game has been going in the direction of making it easier for casuals for years now & I personally do not see it ending anytime soon.

It's also the hard core nerds rerolling for "better racials", faction changing for pvp (like...what just happened...) etc.. The people that I know personally who have done the most micro transactions have been hardcore raiders and hardcore pvpers...not trying to argue/debate just what I've seen.

Removing lfr and funneling casuals into normal would still keep it pretty casual. Lfr just makes people lazy/stupid and that carries over to normal.

I think this games good for 2 expacs on any one person. After that you've experienced everything and it gets regurgitated. I played pre bc and quit in wrath. The game was too easy too me after that. However to keep it going they just need new people, because simply put this is the funnest game in the world. it just gets old. People will enjoy it for years to come im sure.

A billion dollar game isn't dying

If you ask Activision you're totally right. Wow is not as it used to be, the game died for players a few years ago already.

Don't get me wrong I totally agree with you. Activision is doing the right thing sucking money out of players, the only goal for a corporation is to make as much money to its owners as possible.
