I for one consider baseball to be a little better than watching golf. However I don't like to watch any live sport, watching a game on tv at a bar is one thing, going there to watch it....is pretty boring. :/

golf should not be considered a sport.

The only reason people don't like baseball is because its a thinking game... its totally random, and based on the hitter, the pitch thrown and its speed, its going to go to left center or right. Regardless, you gotta think what do I do if the ball comes to me. There's a lot more to it than it seems. But having played it I love it that much more.



Diamondbacks are old lol and aren't known for any clutch unlike the red sox... which is why, as a chicagoian, I love watching them.

i hope this was a joke. baseball is not a thinking sport unless it's a real challenge on how hard you need to throw the ball to get it from outfield to 2nd base. if you really consider baseball a thinking sport, you can call any sport a thinking sport. and yes, you do need to somewhat think in every sport, but it's not qualified as a "thinking sport"

golf is a thinking sport, then again i don't even qualify golf a sport in the first place so meh

You have to play baseball to understand that its a thinking sport, especially as a pitcher and catcher. They get paid so much because it isn't that easy... hell, hitting isn't easy because they don't always think about their flaws when they swing. Good ones fail 7/10 times. The best from season start-finish failed 6/10 times. Football is all planned ahead and doesn't require much thinking outside of the huddle.

I don't see how you don't see baseball is a thinking sport. If the count is 1-0 or 0-2 the pitches are going to change and the spot the ball would land is different from the last pitch.

/e golf is mostly concentration and keeping a tight form, it takes a hell of a lot more patience than anything else though lol
