Private servers have nothing to do with money or being "poor". Also gear score is rated one of the worst ideas in wow history or so I've heard. That kid is bad.

mop and cata blew dick... why on earth has anyone liked them? the only expansions worth a damn are the current one, bc and wrath. I came to WoW during the BC/WotLK transition and my first 80 was a dk after I paid someone on jsp to level my 50 something mage to 55 since I couldn't bear the grind (excuse the noob). I still remember my first DK's name and the first raiding guild I was a part of. I remember tanking as frost and then the next patch rolling out and they totally fucked frost DK's over by making frost strike dodge, block or parry-able along with other nerfs. I absolutely loved doing heroics and how the game was still guild based. Now it just seems like a free for all minus top end guilds
