I'm not "arguing" anything, I literally just said I'm going to mess around with Elysium, when I don't feel like subbing to retail anymore. I go periods where I like playing retail, and where I don't. My game time is expiring soon and I'm not sure if I will have the time to play anymore right now.
I just don't invest heavy hours into private servers anymore, I did at one point, but those days are just gone. Replaying the same old content for long periods of time just gets boring to me personally, playing one game at a time gets boring for me all together. I MMO hop all the time.
The way I see it, so many people wet their panties for vanilla wow, but you can't go back in time and relive the vanilla moments, they will be Elysium or Nostalrius WoW moments. I mean, barrens chat on Nostalrius was more cringe than current wow trade chat, nothing was original.
The best part about it was world pvp, and that's all I'd really do anyways.
