I got banned for 6 months.
The ban lasts for 6 months and it increments (6 months) for every repeating offenses, there's no such thing as a perma ban (For Botting and 3rd party softwares).
You keep your prepaid time including tokens used.
Items and Gold presumably earned by botting are removed.
The ban only affects WoW, your other games are not impacted.

Got myself another account and leveling up a druid.

Actually there is perma ban. Got read on the site. After 3 6month band the account will be closed.
