Yea not bad for 30-40mins

2 shards, 20 motes of harmony, 2500g.

It's sad I spent weeks trying to get a shard drop outside (all over Vale). And I spend just a little over 1.5 hours inside and I get 3.
Gonna call it a night. I might do a few more Shard runs tomorrow.

why bother spending 20 minutes for 1k?

could just do like a couple daily profession cooldowns and get 1k gold and that takes a minute. thats just an example, theres like countless things better than this.

Because maybe people don't have the profession cds which is why they need this guide for gold to get those professions up?

Very good guide by the way, really wanna test this out once I hit 90 on my horde server.

Because you only get credit towards the achievement by looting gold. And I can sell the Alani mount for tons once I finish getting the Shards.
This isn't my main source of income. I just do this when I want to work on my achievement while selling my investments in the AH.

I already do the Profession Cooldowns and I corner the market for the materials needed/the items once made.
My server is dead so sadly some of our stuff takes forever to push. Especially herbs/enchants.

So that's why I focus also on "Gold Loots" which is why the chests/boxes/caches/trinkets stacked = instant gold, no waiting for ah sales.

I smelt/mute all the way from ghost iron ore - living steel bars. While my CD's are selling I go out and farm Shards/Scouts.

But if you think about it, instead of letting my motes collect dust like a lot of people.. I use the mass motes of harmony on Riddle of Steel. = mass living steel bars which = no cool downs.
A lot of people mute 1-2 bars a day or lvl multiple chars to have 8 alchemists.. So instead of wasting time/gold on that I'd rather waste it on SkyShard/Mote Farming.
I can sell the mount for 50k+ gold on my server. And I currently have over 20k gold in living steel bars on the AH from gathering motes/muting on Pirate. 3 Shards away from another mount sale.

I am posting different guides for all kinds of things. One was for farming mass embersilk/with mass gold loot in a short period of time. The other was a guide on farming SkyShards + stacking pots/trinkets.
My next guide will be Warbringers/Scout Hunting, which you can make 2k in 1 kill and tons off of the emblems.

I don't like doing the same thing over and over so I enjoy making money using several different methods during the day. Which is why I refuse to farm ore/herbs lol. It's so boring.
And to be honest, you push stuff faster when you have a variety of things on the AH. Instead of getting stuck having 100 stacks of the same herb.

And I do all of this while making thousands each day in the AH.

Cant wait for the next part as they have been very helpful on achieving a nice income without having to use professions.

Might want to post the amount of time you spent farming for the warbringers etc.

Average spawn time for each (warscout as well as the actual spawn)

IIRC the actual "boss" spawn is like an hour or 45 mins.

Also if you are a leatherworker you can make "bank" farming certain spots for motes + leather. Sometimes even making upwards to 10,000 gold from the leg armors alone. The riddle of steel is about 115 per 100 x-mutes used. So Every 100 should generate 51k or so but require 300 spirits. (10 hours of farming properly should generate 100-120) where as the average value of about 600-800 per leg armor. (server dependent obviously)
