They couldn't help me, I bought battle chest and cata for like 30$ didn't open cata, so I took that back for 20$ back, bought cata + mop for 25$ = win not a huge loss

Battle chests don't come with a free month themselves. I bought 10 of them at gamestop when they were $5 and still have them all in the boxes, minus two, and none of them have a free month. IF you do RaF, you receive a free month for your partner signing up for a month. If they sign up for a second, you receive the mount.

Not the case for me, must be a new marketing ploy by Blizz to get people to continue to subscribe after their first free month is up. I can take a picture of all my battle chests that did not include a free month, if need be. They are tangible, not virtual; this could be the reason?

It's so cheap because their game is failing. The subscribers are shrinking rapidly. I bet it's down to a million now. Time to move on to next gen games. The graphics in WoW are soooooooo bad.
