I'd recommend using it for trinket. It's very easy to hit when you need to hit it.

I started using keybinds when I started my priest. Used them from lvl 1 on that toon and I can never go back. Played my hunter like a year later and I couldn't because none of his spells were keybound :P.

I use 1-6, f1-f4, f, r, t and shift with 1-6 and f1-f4.

Edit: it was because I had a laptop keyboard so the f1-f4 were right above the number keys and my pinky is fucking weak so I can't use ctrl.

basically what you're doing is right . Start out with 6-7 keybinds , once you get used to them add more...

Keybinds have a base ,depends on how big your hands are/how small your keyboard is , and where you move your arrow keys (A,S,D,F) some people move them in the middle of the keyboard , so they can use more stuff to the left . At any rate ... The base for my keybinds are ....

q,e,r,t,f,c,x,z,g,v,1,2,3,4,5,6,7

Basically , once you get used to them binds you can add a shift combination for them . Then Control or Alt (depending on what you're comfortable with).

Tl:dr - Start out with 5-6 keybinds , and once you get used to them add more keybinds/modifiers to them until you have all of your important spells keybound.

keybinds help laziness though..

and yes that's a good start. add G, R, T, Z, V, and whatever is easy for your fingers to function, the same with shift/alt/control. personally i can't hit alt comfortably more than for 1,2,3; and i can't hit control comfortably AT ALL. F1-F4 as well, but don't be a downy and start using Alt-F4
