Undermine journal was the business to be honest.

I bought like 500~ Frozen runes for less than 100.000Gold (Transferring them to proper realms costed some EUR though)
My real life friend was and still is able to craft them, we sold items like Icebane pieces to 60 twinks for crazy amounts of gold.
We could ask more then a goldcap each piece, because we were the only ones in ALL EU able to sell the runes and actually craft the items.
A warrior twink paid me 5 TCG mounts for one Icebane Breastplate costed me 7 frozen runes wich I could have bought for like ~1k.

With knowledge of unobtainble/expensive items, and having stuff like undermine journal, man people made crazy profits.

Tuj is indeed great.

Anyway, to play wow, if you do not need tcg mounts and other cosmetics, you can play the whole expansion with less than 1 million gold lulz XD
