It's likley. But if blizzard had atleast put some effort into other areas it would have been a different expansion for me. The money means nothing 60 bucks is piss in the wind, if you can even get 5 hours out of 60 bucks for entertainment you're laughing.

Had they been fun I'd keep subbed for even 8 hours 2 a week or so of enjoyment. I think blizzard is going to hemorrhage subs this expansion to wod levels.

Should be easy enough to determine by looking at EA's financial statements for the next q1.

A large player base comes from the early 90s kids who are adults now and have grown out of repetitive dungeon running. As a kid you can hammer a block into a hole over and over, as an adult you become self aware of what a waste of time that would be.

I suppose I lost interest fast when the whole concept just felt too similar to legion.

Over the expansions, they keep adding new mechanics that devoids any social aspect that classic was well known for. Sure you can join guilds and get some sort of social aspect down but it feels so lackluster.

Just to verify, I tried out Nost for a while and after dealing with the 40-50 hell, the feeling of accomplishment on leveling was still there. I could probably nail 1-110 in legion 3 times before I was able to hit 1-60 on one character alone. You gain a level... whoop dee, wasn’t much work to do currently.

I think it's funny how you keep comparing adults and kids to the amount of fun you have or time you should spend playing. What's wrong if someone is 50 years old works there 8 hours then spends 12 on wow.

I work 4 12s and I still dont mind dungeon running. You can't speak for a whole (90's kids) when it's literally personal oppinion.

Well I just imagine by this age you have a relationship a full time job and investments to manage. For myself that takes significant time not to mention being a professional I so have to engage in X amount of professional development per year on my own time to maintain a professional designation (letters next to my name).

All of that is before social life, physical health and networking / professional events.

I just don't understand where someone's time would come from. That's a very minimal list of weekly crap. Everyone's different but if you're trying to always progress forward in reality how can someone spend so much time digitally unless being paid or its the hobby you do with your significant other.

Me personally, I have a life to manage and I used to play games relentlessly(5hr/day, which is a lot considering I'm working from 6am->6pm). Now I waste that game time with fishing instead (maybe because of age) and probably play 5hrs/wk for games.

Got 3x lvl 120, all of them are fairly well geared, ilvl 340+. Went through most of the content (Uldir 5/8 heroic). PVP arena still sucks as usual. Proof; Go watch the WoW arena tournement on twitch where people are using PVE tank trinket for unfair advantage.

The game is dumb. My sub ended yesterday and even though I still have a WoW token sitting in my bags, I have no plan on resubbing again.

nah not yet, on some aspects its fun uldir actually is a decent raid imo, pvp is meh but m+ are nice given you have a group can always push keys with. but its left a lot to be desired from the new content perspective ie: warfronts and control of arathi etc.

e: also azerite system is fairly garbage, have to rock 340 gear no matter what for some builds cuz raid doesnt drop your ideal trait and your m+ weekly chest is a total gamble
