Healing is literally 100% about timing, how could you possibly argue against that? You heal either in advance, or in reaction to damage. That's both timing. It's all about timing.

I got my first back in wrath for my druid. The Valynir mace. Then picked up the legendary staff in firelands. Both when they were BIS items. I later got shadowmourne for my warrior after it was no longer relevant.
