no way its worth $ and recourses

Blizzard will never do something non-profit, they find a way to sell just about every idea.

I believe people would have an interest if everything was the way it used to be.

Well seeing how that new private vanilla server has an active player base of 9k online members(and growing) they might capitalize on the idea.

I know they've been adamantly against anything other than new content.

I currently play on the private vanilla server(~3 weeks), it's actually very fun. Nearly 4 days played and I'm only level 43. My buddy is at 6 days played and at 44. Back when leveling was an accomplishment all of its own.

I understand most raids in Vanilla had very simple mechanics but it was mostly gear and cooperation based, which could be much harder than mechanics that can be learned.

So all an all, I say it would be a great idea, for both sides. Activision would profit heavily, and it would totally benefit the older players that miss harder shit. To the guy that said only Naxx was hard in vanilla, you must've forgot about Aq40

I like the idea of a new server, and people should not be able to transfer to that server... like som kind of "season" / "ladder" like there is in diablo.

People could start fresh and do old content.
