new private servers open and close very very frequently.
yes they have bugs but that is because the person/people running it don't have the capability to fix everything.
it would be easy for Blizzard to bring the game back they just refuse to.
they have had their time in the sunshine with WoW and are probably working on something to replace it.

^^ this is true, which is why blizz needs to do it themselves. if they would revive what they already have instead of trying to bring out new bullshit they would make far more money.

Blizz just needs to release vanilla servers just so people can finally realize how shitty it was and they will finally stfu.

Wow was mainly popular because there wasnt a game like it at the time + most other games were pretty shitty since the gaming industry was fairly bland at that point. Now theres a shit ton more games that are innovative and capturing attention from gamers. If they made a vanilla server it would bring a burst of players back but it will be fairly short lived as nostalgia fades

they just need to make a expansion that FEELS like a expansion, going from MOP to WOD it felt so weird, no new abilities, ability pruning, etc

kinda the same with MOP, you barely got any new abilities and half of them were useless or stupid

edit: or how like warriors lost all cool abilities and now to play arms all you do is spam whirlwind? how is dat fun smh

people that have randomly gone MIA would come back and play for at least a few years i guarantee. they would play through wrath, then quit.

People move on, sure its fun it brings back to memories but its not going to save the game and its definitely not gonna make them more money then the time they would have to invest into these new servers
