there was bug when it first came out were people would be able to steal your rings.. so it made it near impossible

Didn't even know there was an exploit just made a level 1 character on a new server and did it on a low pop realm with basically no ring competition when the quest was broke and people could take your rings.

There are only about 60 rings up at a time and when it first came out the rings weren't just yours they were shared. So you'd fly up in the air to get your wings and people would steal half of your rings so you could never complete the achievement. They fixed it and now it's easy.

People always trying to find exploitative ways to do easy things. Its impressive how much more effort they put in to NOT doing something properly, often times if they put that into actually playing they'd be better off (see: People trying to win trade)
