what if my server is dead and the economy blows..what do i do then?

edit:sitting on 400k on one toon and like 150k on another, all legit but i dont know in what to invest people do not buy anythin on my dead garb server at all , i made all my stuff through selling bags/enchanting mats

how did you make money off the items? because why would people buy your items at a higher price when they can buy cheaper like you did?
i just dont understand how this works?

I usually doesnt buy the "whole" item.. I buy the materials and look for a crafter then I resell it.. for example..

If I see cheap ordinary purple gems at ah... then I look up what gems u could make.. then I craft a gem that is useful in PvE / PvP (look up top guilds or top pvpers and check what purple gems they use..) its good if there is few of these gems @ah aswell..

I basicly do the work for people and make sure all items that is needed for raid/pvp is @ ah all the time.. and if some1 wants a mount I collect the mats and find a crafter for them..

Basically you dont need professions you but mat, get crafter, pay fee, make the item and sell if in ah / trade chat right?

Kinda yes.. but when I started I bought epics u could buy from PvE points(?), but generally I try to get stuff as cheap as possible and thats often how u do it.. get the materials and look for crafter..

to ur second question.. just look at my screenshots in the begining.. ull see I got it dated so u can look how much I get in a week or so.. Remember the screenshots is over 2 years old by now so 50k back then is more like 100k
