do these suggestions work for TBC Classic?

From what i've heard and also friends of me TBC is getting a lot of bans cuz people buying gold.


On Retail there is so muchhh gold moving around (boosts, etc) millionssss that I think they don't control it.

i'm just curious how they are actually tracking....is it just the character appears with a bunch of gold or are they tracking gold selling sites. if i am gifting a character from an entirely different account that i own, does that trigger an algorithm which flags the account, or are they tracking actual exchange of currency.
