Majority so far have voted Aff Lock, for good reason too. they will be underplayed in classic, and can be viable in 1 spec for PvP and PvE ...

gods in pvp both bgs / premade / open world pvp
great in dungeons and raids

I.e. Debuff Limit - in 2004 you could have 8 debuffs on a mob and that was it. In 2005 it was 16, BC it was 40, now it's effectively uncapped. This originally was a technical limitation, not a design values problem. We will be restoring it to 16 debuff limit. It is objectively worse design but we don't want to mess with the 1.12 data so we're going with 16.

i believe that means u cant DOT in raids if there is other warlocks who have stronger spells then you and the boss is at 16 debuff limit meaning you just spam shadowbolt...something to keep in mind if you roll lock
but outside of raids they dominate pvp and are super strong for lvling

could be wrong i watched a vid on classic stuff a while back and this was something that was brought up and kinda stuck with me as i was considering lock

Warlocks are tier 1 levelers, free mount, super high utility, aren't very gear dependent to be good, and the pre-bis gear is made from tailoring ... Hmmm

im still torn, but i am basically just gonna say fuck it and level an orc warlock.

i am gonna alt a warrior stricly for PvP after ive played the shit out of my warlock for some months.

Frost Mage, i played one of these during Cata for PvE (dungeons & Raiding) and had alot of fun, i had a decent time playing BG's as well but i felt underwhelmed at times. this class looks GREAT for PvP and also fairs pretty well for a DPS slot for PvE

from Cata -> MoP i played DK as my main, i LOVE playing DK in BG's, Arena's and DPS for dungeons, never did a raid on DK, but i was full conquest geared and had a BLAST playing him in Arenas and BG's

Just cruising the forums and saw your post. I too will be playing around the same amount (hourly). I never got to play classic back when it first aired. Once or twice at my buddy's house because the pizza box I called a computer wouldn't run it.
I started in late Cata and have mained a frost mage since. Doing some research I find they are a viable choice in classic. I have several other max level toons fury warrior, priest, and a paladin (Also a monk for what its worth) I will be rolling a frost mage. Despite what others say is better at this and that play what you want to play. Super jealous that locks and dins get a free mount but that's the unbalanced classic that I want to play tbh. Really looking forward to the leveling process of classic.
