Undead Warlock

I had a twink 49 undead warlock shortly after TBC came out and it was a beast. Was completely OP in PvP: once a buddy of mine (also undead warlock) took on 8 alliance at lumber mill in AB, killed every single one of them, took the flag and then defended. Both of us popped all our cooldowns, soul stones etc. but frigen 2 v 8!!

Also, warlock is a complete beast in PvE - can easily take on 3 monsters at once (when I was grinding up to 49 after TBC was released, and the warlock was very imba, I was literally able to pull 7 monsters at once, all with syphon life, coa, corruption etc.). I also figure that in the event that I am getting ganked left and right, I could spec demonology and go soul link to be practically unkillable even 2vs1.

Overall, I'd say my reason for Warlock is ease of leveling. I took an arms warrior from 1-60, pre-TBC, and it took friggen for-ev-er. I think I dinged 60 at like 12 days play time, although I did a lot of pvp, leveling blacksmithing. Following up on ease of leveling, I certainly don't have the same amount of time available to play WoW as I did 15 years ago and would like to get to end game sooner rather than later.

Undead Warlock. One of the nastiest dps in classic wow. Probably go affliction for both PVE/PVP. I got invited into the stress test its going to be amazing. Just like when i was little

im playing a rogue, because i leveled 3 to 60 in vanilla, and 2 on private servers. i know exactly what to do and where to go for everything pre AQ.

I will roll a mage alt because it was my first main and first 60 in 2005. but an alt because my wife mains a mage. and i will roll another warrior alt because i love tanking but i dont wanna main one.

Actually I was sure I'd roll a rogue or a warrior for big dick DPS and possibly a hunter/mage alt to farm , but as I've been playing a bit on pr****te servers in preparation for beta (if I ever get an invite) and after trying Shaman I'm 90% sure that's what I'll roll on release.
Leveling as enhance while trying to get some healing gear to heal dungeons , then go support / restoshaman at 60. Not a very popular class so easier to get gear, great versatility, great team supporter with totems and whatnot

Tauren Warrior for main tanking and I am actually quite good as a prot warrior in Vanilla.

In retail I played a rogue, though.

I am stuck between undead mage & undead rogue if I choose to go PvP server.
If it’s a non-pvp server I will go undead rogue or undead warlock

This is a tricky question, for me. I've been playing since late TBC (pre-WotLK patch), and have since made a few friends through the game that I still keep up with.
Some of them even moved with me to private servers after retail turned awful. Chances are I'll have a few characters going close to launch.

Firstly, thinking Horde overall. But, I've played both throughout the years. (Not sure if they will allow players to roll horde and ally on the same server at launch so will ignore ally options, rip NE hunter)

Group Play:
Orc/Troll/Taur Shaman: Shamans are amazing. Fun to level, and top 2 (if not #1) healing class in the game. I've played all races, and it's a tough decision. For leveling enhance, I liked Orc for the racial bonuses. At 60 when I switch to resto though, troll becomes insanely good with berserking. Tauren just looks awesome and stomp is great in PvP. In the end I will probably go Troll but we will see. Probably main
Tauren Warrior: Because I like tanking and love the idea of a big huge beastly tank. The extra health racial is just a bonus. Probably will not main warrior though

Solo Play:
Orc/Troll Hunter: Hunters are another amazing class. Insanely strong on their own (+pet). They make for one of the best gold farming classes. Not to mention they are just a blast to play.
Undead Mage: Again, another amazing class. Insanely strong on their own, and they shine in group (dungeon/PvP) play

They are all fun. All good options. Either way, I'm going to end up spending too much time on Classic. I CAN'T WAIT!

feral druid because i want to tank but am worried that warriors are going to stupidly overplayed
