pvp is scaled down
Warfronts can be done over and over for free 340 gear
Once you get higher rating you'll get higher gear

Edit:

Remember when it was backwards and people in PvE geared complained about PvP gear. Grinding just one type of gear > grinding pvp+pve gear

This is the reason I quit retail WoW

Instead of keeping you in the game with content, they make you do daily/weekly chores to make sure your gear doesn't fall behind and you keep playing.

i hear gear scales so everyone uses legion gear cus it has lots of sockets and then you use your secondary stat
