You can try any class/character at level 110 to try them out. Being level 10-50, you can't really get a feel for it.


As far as realm, i would personally look for something with low/medium for a new player. I would also recommend highly that you pick a Role Play(RP) server, they have generally more friendly and welcoming than the rest of the population on this game.


As far as going horde/alliance, pick a race/faction that looks cool to you. You have to start somewhere. If you are looking to follow the lore and story line, then i can't help you there since i barely follow it.

There are no "RP or PvP or PvE" servers anymore once BFA hits.

the rp servers will still be "rp" servers

they wont just vanish as a community and you will still want to avoid them like the plague

when u create a new char at the top of the screen in the middle it says

"character type"
NEW level 1

CLASS TRIAL 100

choose class trial and it will make you a temporary character at level 100 where you can test out its play style
