Vanilla takes some planning and perhaps a group, plus you need to read the quest so you get to know the lore instead of being spoonfed like a baby as it is now https://i.imgur.com/7hpUZ1G.gif

Vanilla takes no group at all. Also way less keybinds than now. It was way more faceroll back then. What are you even talking about

In Vanilla you don't even get into raid groups unless you have the right gear. They will inspect you to a T.

Do you mythic raid now?

You are wrong if you think anything has changed as far as the top guilds.

People wanna keep comparing vanilla wow to LFR when it's apples to oranges.

J. Allen Brack: This is a massive effort. This is a very, very significant effort. I would not expect it to be soon. We actually don't know when we're going to release it. I know that's a generic answer that we give for all of our Blizzard titles, but with this one, we don't actually know how long it will take.

It's really fucking not. Simply get the code for vanilla off of the repository and push it onto a server... If they were being honest when they said they don't have the code anymore which is like so idiotic I dismissed the mere idea of it, this is going to be just another activision-blizzard shitheap of a game.

I raid mythic on 2 toons.
And ofc top guilds won't change, everyone adapts to the changes in those top guilds because thats what they do best.
Why would anyone compare vanilla to LFR...?
I played Vanilla, I know how much of a pain in the ass it was to level.
How hard it was to get into raid groups if you were a deadbeat class.

maybe not you specifically but the amount of times ive seen people compare the difficulty of vanilla to LFR is far too much.

Bad class design is a flaw on blizzards part, doesn't make vanilla hard

Leveling is extremely easy now, with everything everyone has learned over the past 10+ years. You can hit lvl 60 in a week not even playing that much a day if you do it efficently

I guess it depends on where you were in life when you began playing.
I know I started in Vanilla but I was 14 and I was in high school and I had 2 brothers and a sister and 1 computer.
Needless to say I didn't have time to level to 60 for a while so I spent most of my time pvping.
Leveling was pretty tough though, unless you were something that could solo stuff easily like a hunter or warlock.
